The memorandum will help strengthen cooperation between the state and non-governmental sectors within the framework of the project "EMBRACE Tsalka", improve the standard of living for people in Tsalka municipality as well as improve the socio-economic situation.

The EU ENPARD Programme supported the Tsalka Local Action Group (LAG) to take a study tour to visit the Upper Svaneti LAG in Upper Svaneti and share experiences. Within the study tour, the LAG members became acquainted with the experience and knowledge of the Upper Svaneti LAG.

The main goal of the training was to promote community involvement in solving local important issues in Tsalka Municipality. In particular, the provision of information on the mechanisms needed to involve members of the Tsalka LAG and MCEC in decision-making processes, and development of appropriate mechanisms to address local issues and solve them.

The main purpose of the meeting was to become acquainted with and develop detailed mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating the action plan of the Tsalka Local Development Strategy developed within the framework of the project "EMBRACE Tsalka".

Within the EU supported ENPARD projects ‘Keda LEADER’ and ‘Embrace Tsalka’, a study tour was arranged for Tsalka Local Action Group (LAG) members. Within the study tour the LAG members got acquainted with the experience and knowledge of the Keda LAG. 

This year, to celebrate World Environment Day, the EU-supported Tsalka Local Action Group (LAG) announces a video competition It's time to act #ForNature for school students of Tsalka Municipality!

Three initiatives in Tsalka municipality received EU funding to effectively address health and education problems posed by the spread of Covid-19 pandemic. The initiatives were selected from a total of 17 applications received within the rapid response grant competition “New Challenges, New Opportunities” announced by Tsalka Local Action Group (LAG). 

Despite the challenges posed by the novel coronavirus outbreak, the Tsalka Local Action Group (LAG) is determined to achieve its goals and inform the residents of the Municipality about the recently launched EU-funded first grant competition on rural development.
